Removal

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Check safety after raising the vehicle on the lift.
  3. Remove the under cover. (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Engine Room Under Cover")
  4. Disconnect the vacuum pump connector (A).
  5. Remove the retaining clip and separate the vacuum hose (A) from the vacuum pump.
  6. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the vacuum pump (A).

    Tightening torque: 19.6–29 N·m

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
