Replacement

When removing with a flat-blade screwdriver or puller, wrap the tool with protective tape to prevent damage to the components. Wear gloves to avoid cutting your hands.

Be careful not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

   Remove the front door side weatherstrip.

   Remove the rear door body side weatherstrip.

   Remove the front door sill trim. (Refer to Interior Trim - "Door Scuff Trim")

   Remove the rear door scuff plate. (Refer to Interior Trim - "Rear Door Scuff Trim")

   Open the front seat belt lower cover (A) and loosen the mounting bolt.

   Using a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, remove the center pillar lower trim (A).

   To install, reverse the removal procedure.

   Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).

   Remove the center pillar lower trim. (Refer to Interior Trim - "Center Pillar Lower Trim")

   Loosen the mounting bolt and remove the center pillar upper trim (A).

   To install, reverse the removal procedure.

   Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
