Lap Seat Belt (rear center 2-point seat belt, if equipped)

To fasten the rear center seat belt:

Insert the metal tongue into the buckle. A click is heard when the tongue locks into the buckle. Make sure the seat belt is securely locked and not twisted.

The length must be adjusted manually so that the seat belt fits snugly against the hips. Fasten the seat belt and pull the free end to tighten the belt.

The seat belt must be positioned as low as possible on the hips, not on the waist. If the seat belt is too high, the risk of injury in an accident increases.

To unfasten the rear center seat belt:

Press the buckle release button (1) and remove the metal tongue from the buckle.

Storing the Rear Belt

When not in use, the rear seat belt buckles can be stored in the pocket located between the rear seatback and the seat cushion.
