Seat Belts

~1min read

Always fasten your seat belt before driving.

Passengers must always sit properly and be properly secured. Infants and small children must be placed in an appropriate child restraint system. Children who are too big to use a booster and adults must use the seat belts.

WARNING

When adjusting the seat belt, observe the following precautions:

  • NEVER secure more than one passenger with one seat belt.
  • Always keep the seatback as upright as possible, and the lap belt snug and low on the hips.
  • NEVER allow a child or infant to ride on a passenger's lap.
  • Do not wrap the seat belt around your neck or sharp objects, and always keep the shoulder belt across your chest.
  • Do not allow the seat belt to be pinched or obstructed.
