Components and Component Location

COMPONENT LOCATION

1. Rear Door Module

Repair Procedures

REPLACEMENT

  1. Remove the rear door glass. (Refer to Rear Door - Rear Door Glass)
  2. Remove the rear door outside handle. (Refer to Rear Door - "Rear Door Outside Handle")
  3. Disconnect the rear door main connector (A).
  4. Loosen the rear door outside handle base mounting screws (A).
  5. Loosen the retaining screws (A) of the rear door latch.

    Tightening torque: 6.9 ~ 10.8 N·m

  6. Loosen the mounting screws, then remove the rear door outside delta trim (A).
  7. Remove the rear door channel (A).
  8. Loosen the mounting bolts, then remove the rear door module (A).

    Tightening torque: 7.8 – 11.8 N·m

  9. Disconnect the connectors and wire clips of the rear door module (A).
  10. Disconnect the rear door main wire harness (A).
  11. To install, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
