Repair Procedures

REPLACEMENT

   Remove the rear door trim. (Refer to Rear Door - "Rear Door Trim")

   Remove the rear door seat belt inner seal (B).

   Lower the rear door glass by pressing the power window switch.

   Remove the rear door belt outside weatherstrip (B).

   Fully loosen the rear door sash mounting bolts, then loosen the nuts as far as possible without removing them from the rear door panel.

   Carefully push the rear door channel in the direction indicated by the arrow, as shown below.

   Tightening torque: 7.8 – 11.8 N·m

   Remove the plug from the rear door glass mounting hole (B).

   Carefully adjust the rear door glass (A) so that the bolts are visible, then loosen them. Separate the glass from the glass run channel and carefully pull the glass out through the window opening.

   Tightening torque: 7.8 – 11.8 N·m

   To install, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
