Smart Key Precautions
The smart key will not operate in the following cases:
- It is located near a radio wave source, such as a radio station or airport, which may interfere with its operation.
- It is located near a two-way mobile radio system or a mobile phone.
- An active smart key of another vehicle is nearby.
When the smart key does not operate properly, open and close the door with the mechanical key. If problems occur with the use of the smart key, we recommend contacting an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
If the smart key is located near your mobile phone, the mobile phone may block the signal.
This is especially true when you make/receive a call, send SMS messages, and send/receive e-mails. Avoid placing the smart key and your mobile phone in the same jacket or trouser pocket, and be sure to maintain sufficient distance between these two devices.
