If the smart key does not operate properly, try replacing the battery.

Battery type: CR2032

To replace the battery:

1. Open the rear cover of the smart key.

2. Remove the old battery and insert a new one. Make sure the battery is positioned correctly.

3. Reinstall the smart key rear cover.

If you believe your smart key may have been damaged, or if it seems to not be operating properly, we recommend contacting an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
