This warning light illuminates in the following cases:

  • When the ignition key or the engine START/STOP button is in the ON position.
    - Illuminates for approximately 3 seconds, then turns off.
  • When water accumulates in the fuel filter. In this case, drain the water from the fuel filter.

WARNING

Fuel Filter Warning Light

  • When the fuel filter warning light comes on, engine power (vehicle speed and engine idle speed) may be reduced.
  • If you continue driving while this light is on, individual engine parts (injector, fuel pump, etc.) may be damaged. In this case, we recommend having the vehicle checked by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer as soon as possible.
