Automatic Heating and Air Conditioning

~1min read

The automatic climate control system is controlled by setting the desired temperature.

1. Press the AUTO button. (3)

The modes, blower speed, air intake, and air conditioning will be controlled automatically according to the temperature you select.

2. Turn the temperature control knob (1, 2) to the desired temperature. If the lowest temperature (Lo) is set, the air conditioning system will operate continuously. Once the passenger compartment has cooled sufficiently, adjust the knob to a higher temperature setting when possible.

To cancel automatic operation, select any of the following buttons:

- Mode selection button
- Windshield defroster button (press the button again to cancel the windshield defroster function. The "AUTO" indicator will illuminate on the information display.)
- Fan speed control button

The selected function will be controlled manually, while the other functions will continue to operate automatically.

For your comfort and improved climate control efficiency, use the AUTO button and set the temperature to 73°F (23°C).
