The High Beam Assist system automatically adjusts the headlight range (switches between high beam and low beam) depending on the brightness of detected vehicles and certain road conditions.

Sensor (Front View Camera)

The front view camera is used as a sensor to detect ambient light and brightness while driving.

For the detailed location of the sensor, refer to the illustration above.

NOTICE

Always keep the front view camera clean to maintain optimum performance of the High Beam Assist system.

For additional precautions when using the front view camera, refer to "Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) System" in chapter 7.
