WARNING
Windshield Defroster
Do not use the
position during cooling in very humid weather. The difference between the outside air temperature and the windshield temperature may cause the outside surface of the windshield to fog up, resulting in loss of visibility, which may lead to an accident, resulting in serious injury or death. In this case, set the mode selection button to the
position and set the temperature control knob and blower speed control knob to a lower speed.
- For maximum defrosting performance, set the temperature control to the maximum temperature setting and the blower speed to the maximum setting.
- If warm air to the floor is required while defrosting or defogging, set the mode to the floor defrost position.
- Before driving, clear snow and ice from the windshield, rear window, outside mirrors, and all side windows.
- Remove all snow and ice from the hood and the hood air intake grille to improve heater and defroster efficiency and reduce the possibility of fogging on the inside of the windshield.
NOTICE
If the engine temperature is still low after starting, it may take a short warm-up period before the ventilation airflow becomes warm or hot.
