Folding the Outside Rearview Mirror

Manual Type

To fold an outside mirror, grasp the mirror housing and fold it toward the rear of the vehicle.

Electric Type

The outside mirror can be folded or unfolded by pressing the switch.

• If the user settings mode on the LCD is set, the outside mirrors will fold or unfold automatically as follows:
  - The mirrors will fold or unfold when the doors are locked or unlocked with the smart key.
  - The mirrors will fold or unfold when the doors are locked or unlocked with the button on the outside door handle.
• If "Convenience -> Welcome Mirror/Light -> Unlock Door" and "Convenience -> Welcome Mirror/Light -> Driver Approach" are selected in the user settings mode on the LCD, the outside mirrors will unfold automatically when you approach the vehicle (all doors closed and locked) with the electronic key.

NOTICE

The power outside mirrors operate even when the ignition switch is in the OFF position. However, to avoid unnecessary battery discharge, do not adjust the mirrors longer than necessary with the engine off.

NOTICE

Do not fold the power outside mirrors manually. This may cause a malfunction.
