Side Mirrors

Your vehicle is equipped with both left and right outside rearview mirrors. The mirrors can be adjusted remotely using the mirror adjustment control switch. The outside rearview mirrors can be folded to prevent damage when going through an automatic car wash or when driving on a narrow street.

The right side mirror is convex. Objects seen in the mirror are closer than they appear.

Use the inside rearview mirror or look over your shoulder to determine the actual distance to other vehicles before changing lanes.

Make sure the outside rearview mirrors are adjusted to the desired position before driving.

WARNING

Do not adjust or fold the side view mirrors while driving. This may cause loss of vehicle control, resulting in an accident.

NOTICE

• Do not scrape ice off the mirror; this may damage the glass surface.
• If the mirror is frozen, do not force the mirror to adjust. Use an approved de-icer spray (not engine coolant antifreeze), a sponge or soft cloth with very warm water, or move the vehicle to a warm place and allow the ice to melt.
• Do not clean the mirror with harsh abrasives, gasoline, or other petroleum-based cleaners.
