Power Adjustment
The front seat can be adjusted using the switches located on the outside of the seat cushion. Before driving, adjust the seat to the proper position so that you can easily operate the steering wheel, pedals, and controls on the instrument panel.
WARNING
NEVER leave children unattended in the vehicle. Power seats operate when the vehicle is off.
NOTICE
To prevent damage to the seats:
- Always stop adjusting the seat once it has been moved as far forward or backward as possible.
- Do not adjust the seats longer than necessary when the vehicle is off. This may cause unnecessary battery discharge.
- Do not operate two or more seats at the same time. This may cause an electrical malfunction.
Forward and Backward Adjustment

To move the seat forward or backward:
1. Press the control switch forward or backward.
2. Release the switch as soon as the seat reaches the desired position.
Seatback Angle

To recline a seatback:
1. Press the control switch forward or backward.
2. Release the switch when the seatback reaches the desired position.
Reclining Seatback
Sitting in a reclined position while the vehicle is moving can be dangerous. Even when buckled up, the protection of your restraint system (seat belts and airbags) is significantly reduced if the seatback is reclined.
WARNING
NEVER drive with the seatback reclined. Driving with a reclined seatback increases the risk of serious or fatal injury in a collision or sudden stop.
Drivers and passengers must ALWAYS sit in their seats, properly wearing their seat belts, with the seatbacks in the upright position.
For proper operation, seat belts must fit snugly across the hips and chest. When the seatback is reclined, the shoulder belt cannot perform its function because it will not fit snugly against the chest. Instead, it will be in front of you. In an accident, you may slide under the seat belt, which may result in neck injury or other injuries.
The more the seatback is reclined, the greater the chance that the occupant's hips will slide under the lap belt, and the occupant's neck may strike the shoulder belt.
Seat Cushion Tilt (1)

To adjust the front seat cushion angle:
Press the front part of the control switch up to raise, or down to lower the front part of the seat cushion.

Seat Cushion Height (2)
