Air Recirculation when Using Washer Fluid
Recirculation mode is automatically activated to reduce any unpleasant odor of washer fluid entering the cabin when the windshield washer is operated.
Turning Activate when Using Washer Fluid On or Off
Climate Control System
To turn the Activate when Using Washer Fluid function on or off, select the Floor level (.png)
) mode, then press the air intake control (.png)
) button four times within two seconds while pressing the A/C icon.
When Activate when Using Washer Fluid is on, the air intake control button indicator flashes 6 times. When off, the indicator flashes 3 times.
Infotainment System
Activate when Using Washer Fluid (or Washer Fluid Lock) can be turned on or off by selecting Settings — Vehicle Settings — Climate — Air Recirculation — Activate when Using Washer Fluid from the infotainment system screen. For details, refer to the separate infotainment system manual.
However, in cold weather, recirculation mode cannot be selected to prevent windshield fogging.
