Sunroof Reset

~1min read

In some cases, it may be necessary to reset the sunroof. Cases where a sunroof reset may be required include:

- When the 12-volt battery is disconnected or discharged
- When replacing the sunroof fuse
- If the one-touch AUTO OPEN/CLOSE function of the sunroof does not operate properly

Sunroof reset procedure:

1. It is recommended to perform the reset procedure with the engine running. Start the vehicle in P (Park).

2. Make sure the power sunshade and sunroof glass are fully closed. If the power sunshade and sunroof glass are open, press the switch forward until the power sunshade and sunroof glass are fully closed.

3. Release the switch when the power sunshade and sunroof glass are fully closed.

4. Press and hold the switch forward until the power sunshade and sunroof glass move. Then release the switch.

5. Press and hold the sunroof switch forward again until the power sunshade and glass sunroof open and close fully. Do not release the switch until the operation is complete. If you release the switch during operation, repeat the procedure from step 2.

Information

If the sunroof does not reset after the vehicle battery is disconnected or discharged, or if the sunroof fuse is blown, the sunroof may not operate normally.
