Automatic Reverse

If the power sunshade or sunroof glass detects an obstacle while closing automatically, it will reverse direction and then stop at a specific position.
The automatic reverse function may not operate if a thin or soft object is caught between the sliding power sunshade or sunroof glass and the sunroof opening.
WARNING
- Make sure your head, hands, arms, or any other body parts or objects are clear before operating the sunroof. Body parts or objects may become caught, resulting in injury or vehicle damage.
- Never intentionally use body parts to test the automatic reverse function. The power sunshade or sunroof glass may reverse direction, but there is a risk of injury.
NOTICE
- Do not keep pressing the sunroof switch after the sunroof is fully open, fully closed, or fully tilted. The sunroof motor may be damaged.
- Continuous operations such as sliding open/close and tilt open/close may cause the sunroof motor or system to malfunction.
- Regularly remove accumulated dust from the sunroof guide rail.
- Dust accumulated between the sunroof and the roof panel may cause noise. Open the sunroof and regularly remove dust with a clean cloth.
- Do not attempt to open the sunroof in sub-freezing temperatures or when the sunroof is covered with snow or ice. The sunroof may operate incorrectly and may be damaged if forced open.
- Do not open the sunroof or drive with the sunroof open immediately after rain or vehicle washing. Water may enter the vehicle interior.
- Do not extend luggage beyond the sunroof opening while driving. Vehicle damage may occur if the vehicle stops suddenly.
WARNING
Do not stick your head, hands, body parts, or objects out of the sunroof opening while driving. A sudden stop may result in injury.
