To set the steering wheel to a comfortable position, adjust the steering wheel so that it is directed toward your chest, not your face. Make sure you can see the warning lights and gauges on the instrument cluster. After adjustment, press the lever and move the steering wheel up and down to make sure it is locked in the desired position.

Always adjust the steering wheel position before starting to drive.

WARNING

NEVER adjust the steering wheel while driving. This may result in loss of vehicle control and an accident.

To adjust the steering wheel angle and height:

1. Pull down the lock release lever (1).

2. Adjust the steering wheel to the desired angle (2) and forward/rearward distance (3).

3. Pull up the release lever to lock the steering wheel.

Information

Sometimes the lock release lever may not lock fully. This may occur when the locking mechanism gears do not fully engage. If this happens, pull down the release lever, adjust the steering wheel again, and then pull the lock lever up to lock the steering wheel.
