Parking Assist System Operation

Operating Conditions

• This system activates when reversing with the ignition ON.
• The operating range of the Parking Assist System is approximately 120 cm (47 in.).
• If more than two objects are detected at the same time, the closer one is recognized first.

Types of Warning Sounds

• When an object is 120 - 81 cm (47 - 32 in.) from the rear bumper: intermittent buzzer sound.
• When an object is 80 - 41 cm (31 - 16 in.) from the rear bumper: buzzer sound frequency increases.
• When an object is less than 40 cm (15 in.) from the rear bumper: continuous buzzer sound.
