Daytime running lights (DRL) help make the vehicle more visible from the front to other road users during daytime. The DRL function may be useful in various driving conditions, and is especially useful shortly after sunrise or before sunset.

The daytime running lights will turn off automatically in the following cases:

1. Parking lights are turned on.
2. Engine is stopped.
3. Parking brake is applied.
