Audio head unit (for models with XM RADIO™)

1. (EJECT)

Ejects the disc.

2.

• Switches to FM/AM/XM mode.
• Each time the key is pressed, the mode changes in the following order: FM1 ➟ FM2 ➟ AM ➟ XM1 ➟ XM2 ➟ XM3.

❈ In Setup > Display, the radio pop-up screen will be displayed when [Mode Pop-up] is turned. .

When the pop-up screen is displayed, usethe TUNE knob or buttons ~ to select the desired mode.

• Switches to CD, USB (iPod®), AUX, My Music, BT Audio mode.
• Each time the button is pressed, the mode changes in the following order: CD, USB (iPod®), AUX, My Music, BT Audio.

❈ In Setup > Display, the media pop-up screen will be displayed when [Mode Pop-up] is turned. .

When the pop-up screen is displayed, usethe TUNE knob or buttons ~ to select the desired mode.

Operates with the phone screen.

❈ If a phone is not connected, the connection screen is displayed.

• Radio mode: Automatically searches for broadcast frequencies.
• CD, USB, iPod®, My Music modes: Briefly press the button (less than 0.8 seconds): Moves to the next or previous song (file). Press and hold the button (more than 0.8 seconds): Fast-forwards or rewinds the current song.
• BT Audio mode: Moves to the next or previous song (file).

❈ Play/pause function may operate differently depending on the mobile phone.

6. PWR/VOL knob

• Power: Turns the power on/off by pressing the knob.
• • Volume: Adjusts the volume by turning the knob left/right.

7. ~ (preset)

• Radio mode: Stores frequencies (channels) or recalls stored frequencies (channels).
• CD, USB, iPod®, My Music modes

- : Repeat

- : Random

• The number menu is selected on the Radio, Media, Settings and Menu pop-up screen.

Each time the button is briefly pressed (less than 0.8 seconds), the screen changes: Screen off ➟ Screen on ➟ Screen off.

❈ Sound operation is maintained, and only the screen is turned off. When the screen is off, press any key to turn the screen on again.

Radio Mode

- Briefly press the key (less than 0.8 seconds): Previews each broadcast for 5 seconds.

- Press and hold the key (more than 0.8 seconds): Previews broadcasts stored in Preset. ~ for 5 seconds each.

❈ Press thePress the key again to continue listening to the current frequency.

❈ XM Radio™ does not support the preset scan function.

CD, USB, My Music modes

Briefly press the key (less than 0.8 seconds): Previews each song (file) for 10 seconds.

❈ Press thePress the key again to continue listening to the current song (file).

• Briefly press the button (less than 0.8 seconds): Moves to the Display, Sound, Clock, Phone, System setup modes.
• Press and hold the button (more than 0.8 seconds): Moves to the time setting screen.

Displays the menu for the current mode.

❈ iPod® list: Moves to the parent category.

Radio Mode

- XM RADIO™: Searches by category.

MP3, CD, USB modes: Searches folders.

13. SETUP knob

• Radio mode: Changes the frequency by turning the knob left/right.
• CD, USB, iPod®, My Music modes: Searches songs (files) by turning the knob left/right.

❈ When the desired song appears, press the knob to play the song.

Moves the focus within all selection menus and selects a menu.

14. DISC-IN indicator

LED indicating whether a disc is inserted.
