Blade Replacement

Front Windshield Wiper Blade

■ Type A

1. Raise the wiper arm and gently rotate the wiper blade assembly to release the plastic latch.

CAUTION

Do not allow the wiper arm to drop onto the windshield, as it may chip or crack the windshield.

2. Press the clip (1) and slide the blade assembly down (2).

3. Remove it from the arm.

4. Install the wiper blade assembly in the reverse order of removal.

5. Return the wiper arm to the windshield.

■ Type B

1. Raise the wiper arm.

CAUTION

Do not allow the wiper arm to drop onto the windshield, as it may chip or crack the windshield.

2. Lift the wiper arm clip (1). Then pull down the blade assembly (2) and remove it.

3. Install the new wiper blade assembly in the reverse order of removal.

4. Return the wiper arm to the windshield.

Rear Wiper Blade

1. Raise the wiper arm.

2. Gently rotate the wiper arm assembly (1) and pull it out.

3. Install the new blade assembly by inserting the center portion into the slot on the wiper arm.

4. Make sure the blade assembly is securely installed by gently pulling on it.

CAUTION

To avoid damage to the wiper arms or other components, contact an authorized service center. A HYUNDAI dealer will replace the wiper blade.
