Cigarette Lighter (if equipped)

To use the cigarette lighter, the ignition key must be in the ACC or ON position.

To open the cover, press the cover and it will open slowly. Then press the cigarette lighter fully into the socket. When the element is heated, the lighter will pop out to the "ready" position.

If the cigarette lighter needs to be replaced, use only an original HYUNDAI replacement or an approved equivalent.

CAUTION

Do not hold the cigarette lighter while it is heating. It may overheat and damage the lighter or heating element. Do not use the cigarette lighter socket for accessories (shavers, handheld vacuum cleaners, coffee makers, etc.). Using plug-in accessories may damage the socket or cause a power supply malfunction. Use power outlets for this purpose.
