With the ignition on, go to User Settings > Driver Assistance > Parking Safety > Parking Distance Warning Auto On (for cluster type) or Settings > Vehicle > Driver Assistance > Parking Safety > Parking Distance Warning Auto On (for infotainment system) from the Settings menu to set Parking Distance Warning to turn on automatically.

When Parking Distance Warning Auto On is selected, the parking safety ( ) button indicator remains illuminated.

Information

You can change the warning volume setting for the Parking Distance Warning from the settings menu. For more information, refer to "Driver Assistance System Settings" in this chapter.
