Replacement

  1. Remove the condenser, then remove the lower cover (B) from the condenser using the L-shaped wrench (A).

    Tightening torque: 20 ~ 25 N·m

  2. Remove the desiccant (A) from the condenser using long-nose pliers. Check the desiccant and the lower cover filter for clogging.
  3. Apply compressor oil along the O-rings and threads of the new lower cap.
  4. Insert the new desiccant into the receiver-drier. The desiccant must be vacuum-sealed until it is exposed to air for use.
  5. Install the new lower cap on the condenser.
    • Always replace the desiccant and the lower cover together.
    • Replace the O-rings with new ones at each fitting and apply a thin coat of refrigerant oil before installation. Be sure to use the correct O-rings for R-134a to prevent leakage.
    • Be careful not to damage the radiator and condenser fins when installing the condenser.
    • Make sure the lower condenser support cushions are securely seated in the holes.
    • Charge the system and check that it operates properly.
