Soft Top Window Care

The soft top windows are made of flexible plastic that can be scratched if care is not taken. Follow these instructions:

• Never use a dry cloth to remove dust. Instead, use a microfiber or soft cotton towel dampened with cold or lukewarm clean water and wipe the window, not up and down. Mopar® Jeep® Soft Window Cleaner or an equivalent will safely clean all plastic windows without scratching. It removes minor scratches, improves visibility and provides UV protection, helping to prevent yellowing.
• When washing, never use hot water or anything stronger than mild soap. Never use solvents such as alcohol or aggressive cleaners.
• Always rinse thoroughly with cold water, then wipe with a soft, slightly damp, clean cloth.
• When removing frost, snow or ice, never use a scraper or de-icing chemicals. Use warm water only if you must wash the window quickly.
• Debris (sand, mud/dirt, dust or salt) from off-road driving will affect the plastic window fastener operation. Even on normal road driving and vehicle washing, the operation of the plastic window fasteners will eventually be affected. To keep the plastic window fasteners easy to use, clean and lubricate the fastener of each window regularly.

  Clean them with a mild soap solution and a small brush. Cleaning products are available from an authorized dealer.

• Never attach stickers, adhesive labels or any tape to the windows. Adhesives are difficult to remove and may damage the windows.
