Washing

~1min read
  • Wash your vehicle regularly. Always wash your vehicle in the shade using Mopar® Car Wash or a mild car wash soap, and rinse panels thoroughly with water.
  • If insects, tree sap or other similar deposits build up on your vehicle, use Mopar® Super Kleen Bug and Tar Remover to remove them.
  • Use a high-quality cleaning wax, such as Mopar® Cleaner Wax, to remove road film and stains and to protect the paint finish. Use care to avoid scratching the paint.
  • Avoid using abrasive compounds and power polishing, which can reduce gloss or thin the paint finish.
  • Do not use abrasive or harsh cleaning materials such as steel wool or abrasive powder, which will scratch metal and painted surfaces.
  • Use of high-pressure washers exceeding 1200 psi (8 274 kPa) may damage or remove paint and decals.
