FUEL REQUIREMENTS - GASOLINE ENGINE

When operating on gasoline with the required octane rating, a slight engine knock is not cause for concern. However, if you hear a heavy engine knock, contact your dealer immediately. Using gasoline with an octane rating lower than the recommended octane rating may cause engine damage and may void the New Vehicle Limited Warranty.

Poor quality gasoline may cause problems such as hard starting, stalling, and hesitation. If you experience these symptoms, try a different brand of gasoline before considering service for the vehicle.
