Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the lower oil pan. (Refer to Lubrication System - "Oil Pan").
  2. Remove the oil pump chain cover (A).

    Tightening torque: 9.8 ~ 11.8 N·m

  3. Remove the bolt (A) and then separate the chain with the sprocket from the oil pump.

    Tightening torque: 18.6 ~ 22 N·m

  4. Remove the oil pump (A).

    Tightening torque: 20.6 ~ 23 N·m
    When installing, use a new O-ring.
  5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
  6. After assembly, wait at least 30 minutes before adding engine oil.
