1. Press the CRUISEbutton on the steering wheel to turn on the system. The cruise control indicator light will illuminate.

2. Accelerate to the desired speed, which should be above approximately 30 km/h (20 mph).

✽ NOTICE - Manual Transmission

On vehicles with a manual transmission, depress the brake pedal at least once to set the cruise control after starting the engine.

3. Move the lever down (to SET-) and release it at the desired speed. The cruise control set indicator light will illuminate. At the same time, release the accelerator pedal. The desired speed will be maintained automatically.

On a steep uphill or downhill slope, the vehicle may slow down or speed up slightly.
