  • When the front (1) of the switch is pressed, all vehicle doors unlock.
  • When the rear (2) of the switch is pressed, all vehicle doors lock.

WARNING - Door Lock Malfunction

If the power door lock stops working while you are inside the vehicle, try one or more of the following:

  • Operate the other door locks and handles.
  • Lower the driver's window and use the key to unlock the door from the outside.
  • Move to the cargo area and open the tailgate.

WARNING - Doors

  • While the vehicle is in motion, the doors must always be fully closed and locked to prevent accidental door opening. Locked doors also deter potential intruders when the vehicle stops or slows down.
  • Be careful when opening doors and watch for vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, or pedestrians approaching the vehicle in the path of the door. Opening a door when something is approaching may cause damage or injury.

WARNING - Unlocked Vehicles

Leaving the vehicle unlocked may invite theft or allow someone hiding in your vehicle to harm you or others while you are away. Always remove the ignition key, apply the parking brake, close all windows, and lock all doors when leaving your vehicle unattended.

WARNING - Children Left Unattended

A closed vehicle can become extremely hot, which may result in death or serious injury to children or animals left unattended who cannot leave the vehicle. In addition, children may operate vehicle features that could injure them, or they may cause other damage, possibly by someone entering the vehicle. Never leave children or animals unattended in your vehicle.
