Jacking Instructions

The jack is intended for emergency use only for tire replacement.

To prevent the jack from rattling while driving, store it properly.

Follow the lifting instructions to reduce the possibility of injury.

WARNING - Tire Jack

Do not place any part of your body under the vehicle while it is supported only by the jack, as the vehicle may easily slip off the jack. Use vehicle support stands.

WARNING - Changing a Tire

Never attempt to change a tire on a public road or highway.

  • Always move the vehicle completely off the road and onto the shoulder before attempting to replace a tire. The jack should be used on hard, level ground. If you cannot find a solid, level place away from the road, call a towing company for assistance.
  • Be sure to use the correct front and rear jacking positions on the vehicle. Never use the bumpers or any other part of the vehicle to support the jack.
  • Do not allow anyone to remain in the vehicle while it is supported by the jack.
  • Make sure children are in a safe place away from the road and the vehicle being lifted by the jack.

WARNING - Vehicle Running on Jack

Do not start or run the engine while the vehicle is on the jack, as this may cause the vehicle to fall off the jack.
