What to Do in an Emergency

If You Have a Flat Tire (with Tire Mobility Kit)

~1min read

Please read the instructions before using the Tire Mobility Kit.

(1) Compressor
(2) Sealant bottle

The Tire Mobility Kit is a temporary repair for the tire, and the tire must be inspected by an authorized Kia dealer as soon as possible.

WARNING! Use one sealant canister per tire.

When two or more tires are flat, do not use the Tire Mobility Kit because the sealant canister contains enough sealant for only one flat tire.

WARNING - Tire Sidewall

Do not use the Tire Mobility Kit to repair large punctures or sidewall damage. In such cases the tire cannot be sealed completely and air will leak from the tire. This may cause tire failure.

WARNING. Speed limit with temporary repair

Do not exceed 80 km/h while driving with a tire repaired using the Tire Mobility Kit. While driving, if you experience any unusual vibration, handling change, or noise, reduce speed and drive carefully until you can safely pull off the road.

WARNING - Temporary Repair

Repair the tire as soon as possible. The tire may lose air pressure at any time after inflating it with the Tire Mobility Kit.

CAUTION

When reinstalling a repaired or replaced tire and wheel on the vehicle, tighten the wheel lug nuts to 11~13 kgf·m (79~94 lbf·ft).
