Turn the wing nut securing the tire counterclockwise to remove it.

Store the tire in the reverse order of removal.

To prevent the spare tire and tools from rattling while driving, store them properly.

If the wing nut securing the tire is difficult to loosen by hand, you can loosen it easily using the jack handle. 1. Insert the jack handle (1) into the wing nut securing the tire. 2. Turn the wing nut counterclockwise using the jack handle.

WARNING - Cargo Area Floor Contact Surface

Do not touch the metal surface of the cargo area floor while the engine is running or hot. This may cause serious personal injury.

Turn off the engine and wait until it cools down, or wear gloves, before removing the spare tire from the storage area.
