Measure the resistance between No. 4 at connector A and No. 1 at connector B to check the cushion heater.
Specification: Cushion: 1.3 Ω ± 10%
Measure the resistance between No. 1 and No. 2 at connector C to check the rear heater.
Specification: Rear: 1.35 Ω ± 10%
Connect the connector, turn on the seat heater, and then check the thermostat by measuring the seat surface temperature. Standard Value (Cloth/Leather) Cushion: Step 1: 40 ± 2 °C Step 2: 42 ± 2 °C Back: Step 1: 46 ± 2 °C Step 2: 52 ± 2 °C
Check the continuity and measure the resistance between the terminals as shown below.* Refer to the Circuit Diagram to check connectors B and C.
Measure the resistance between No. 1 and No. 2 at connector A to check the cushion and rear heater. Specification: Assembly (Cushion + Back) - Bench Type: 2.90 Ω ± 10%; Cushion - Separate Type: 8.0 Ω ± 10%
Measure the resistance between No. 3 at connector A and No. 1 at connector B to check the cushion heater.
Specification: Cushion - Bench Type: 2.2 Ω ± 10%
Measure the resistance between No. 1 and No. 2 at connector C to check the rear heater.
Specification: Back - Bench Type: 1.7 Ω ± 10%
Turn on the seat heater after connecting the 4-pin connector, then check the thermostat by measuring the seat surface temperature. Specification (cloth/leather) Cushion: Step 1: 40 ± 2 °C Step 2: 42 ± 2 °C Back: Step 1: 46 ± 2 °C Step 2: 52 ± 2 °C
