Washer Fluid Level Inspection

The reservoir is translucent, so you can quickly check the level visually.

Check the washer fluid level in the reservoir and add fluid if necessary. If washer fluid is not available, plain water may be used.

However, in cold climates, use washer solution with antifreeze properties to prevent freezing.

WARNING - Coolant

• Do not add engine coolant or antifreeze to the washer fluid reservoir.
• Engine coolant can severely impair visibility when sprayed onto the windshield and may cause loss of vehicle control or damage to paint and body trim.
• Windshield washer fluids contain a quantity of alcohol and may be flammable under certain conditions. Do not allow sparks or flames near washer fluid or the washer fluid reservoir. Damage to the vehicle or injury to passengers may result.
• Windshield washer fluid is poisonous to humans and animals. Do not drink, and avoid contact with windshield washer fluid. Serious injury or death may occur.
