Filter Inspection

The climate control air filter should be replaced according to the maintenance schedule. If the vehicle is driven in cities with heavily polluted air or on dusty, uneven roads for a long period, inspect it more often and replace it earlier.

When replacing the climate control air filter, follow the procedure below and take care not to damage other components.

1. Open the glove box and remove the support strap (1).

2. With the glove box open, remove the caps from both sides.

3. Remove the climate control air filter housing by pulling both sides of the cover.

4. Replace the cabin air filter.

5. Reassemble in the reverse order of disassembly.

✽ NOTICE

When replacing the climate control air filter, install it correctly. Otherwise, the system may make noise and filter efficiency may decrease.
