Parking Brake Pedal Stroke Adjustment

Depress the parking brake pedal to full stroke more than 3 times to set the parking brake cables.

Adjust the parking brake pedal stroke adjusting nut (A) to 8 - 9 notches at an operating force of 294 N (30 kgf, 66 lbf).
Caution
1. The parking brake adjustment must be performed after the rear shoe adjustment.
2. After adjusting the parking brake, check the following items.
3. There must be no clearance between the adjusting nut and the pin.
4. Securely check that the brake does not slip.
