  1. Install the retaining clip (A, B) after securing the parking brake cable.
  2. Install the parking brake pedal, then install the parking brake pedal mounting bolts (A) and nut (B).
  3. Adjust the parking brake pedal stroke by turning the adjusting nut (A).
    1. Depress the parking brake pedal to full stroke more than 3 times to set the parking brake cables.
    2. Adjust the parking brake pedal stroke adjusting nut (A) to 8 - 9 clicks at an operating force of 294 N (30 kgf, 66 lbf).
  4. Connect the parking brake switch connector.
  5. Install the junction box. (Refer to Body Electrical System - "Relay Box (Passenger Compartment)").
  6. Install the lower crash pad panel. (Refer to Body - "Lower Crash Pad Panel").
