Repair Procedures

Filter Inspection

The cabin air filter should be replaced according to the maintenance schedule.

If the vehicle is operated in heavily polluted cities or on dusty, rough roads for a prolonged period, inspect it more often and replace it earlier than the schedule specifies.

When replacing the air conditioning air filter, follow the procedure below and take care not to damage other components.

Cleaning

   Remove the climate control air filter.

   Make sure the climate control air filter is not excessively dirty.

   When cleaning the air conditioning air filter, blow it with compressed air as shown in the illustration to clean it.

   

Replacement

1. 1

   Disconnect the plug (B) from the glove box (A).

   Disconnect the air duct (A) from the glove box (B).

   

3. 3

   Remove the filter cover (A) by pressing the handle.

   

4. 4

   Replace the air filter (A) with a new one in accordance with the air filter replacement instructions.

   

5. 5

   Install in the reverse order of removal.
