Repair Procedures

Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

  2. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the mirror wiring cover (A).

  3. Disconnect the LKA module connector (A).

  4. Remove the LKA module (B) by pulling out the locking pins (A).

Installation

When calibration is required

  • Replace the LKA with a new one.

  • LKA Removal and Installation

  • Windshield Replaced

  • The LKA bracket on the windshield is deformed.

  1. Align the reference point with the alignment mark (A) and align the LKA.

  2. Apply force to the locking position (B) to complete the installation.

  3. Connect the LKA unit connector.

  4. Install the mirror wiring cover.

  5. Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
