Parking Brake Inspection

Check whether the travel is within specification when the parking brake pedal is depressed with a force of 20 kg (44 lb, 196 N). Also, only the parking brake should hold the vehicle securely on a sufficiently steep slope. If the travel is greater or less than specified, have the parking brake adjusted by an authorized Kia dealer.
