The alarm sounds when the alarm system is triggered by any of the following factors:

  • The trunk is opened without the remote transmitter (or smart key).
  • The rear door is opened without the remote transmitter (or smart key).
  • The hood is opened.

The horn sounds and the hazard warning lights flash continuously for approximately 30 seconds. To turn off the alarm system, unlock the doors using the remote transmitter (or smart key).
