Children and infants must use a suitable child restraint system with forward or rearward facing, and it must be correctly secured to the vehicle seat. Read and follow the installation instructions and the manufacturer's instructions for use of the child restraint system.

WARNING

  • When installing and using a child restraint system, always follow the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Always hold the child properly in the child restraint system.
  • Never use a child carrier or child restraint device that is only hung over the seatback, as it may not provide sufficient protection in an accident.
  • After an accident, have the child restraint system inspected by a specialized workshop. Kia recommends contacting a Kia dealer/service partner.
