WARNING

Always secure children properly in the vehicle. Children of all ages are safest when secured in a rear seat. Never place a rear-facing child restraint system on the front passenger seat unless the passenger front airbag is deactivated.

Children under the age of 13 must always ride in the rear seat and be properly secured to reduce the risk of injury in accidents, sudden braking, or evasive maneuvers.

Accident statistics show that a child properly secured in a rear seat is safer than one seated in the front. Children who are too large for a child restraint system must use the seat belts.

In most countries, there are regulations that children may only ride in approved child restraint systems.

The legal regulations regarding the age, weight, and height at which seat belts may be used instead of a child restraint system vary by region. Therefore, observe the specific regulations in your country and in the region where you are traveling.

Child restraint systems must be properly installed and positioned on the vehicle seat. Always use a commercially available child restraint system that meets the requirements of your country.
