WARNING

  • Even in vehicles with airbags, you and your passengers should always fasten seat belts to reduce the risk and severity of injuries in a collision or rollover.
  • The SRS and seat belt pretensioners contain explosive chemicals. When scrapping the vehicle without removing the SRS and seat belt pretensioners, they may cause a fire. Contact a specialized workshop before scrapping the vehicle. Kia recommends visiting a Kia dealer or service partner.
  • Keep SRS parts and cables away from water and other liquids. If SRS components become wet or come into contact with liquids, they may ignite or cause serious injury.
