Seat heaters (if equipped)

The front seats are equipped with heaters to warm the seats in low temperatures. With the ignition on, press the respective switch to turn on the seat heater for the driver's and/or passenger's seat. Keep the seat heater off at higher temperatures or when it is not needed.

• Bei jedem Drücken des Schalters ändert sich die Temperatureinstellung des Sitzes wie folgt:

• Nach jedem Einshalten der Zündung ist die Sitzheizung Automaticausgeschaltet.

WARNING

Wenn der Schalter für die Sitzheizung eingeschaltet ist, schaltet sich die Sitzheizung abhängig von der Sitztemperatur ein und aus.

• Do not use solvents such as thinner, gasoline, or alcohol to clean the seats. This may damage the seat surface or seat heater.
• Do not place anything on the seats that insulates heat, such as blankets, seat cushions, or seat covers, while the seat heater is operating, to prevent overheating of the seat heater.
• Do not carry heavy or sharp-edged objects on seats equipped with seat heaters. Seat heater components may be damaged as a result.
• Do not modify the seat covers. This may damage the seat heater or seat ventilation.

WARNING

Verbrennungen durch Sitzheizung

Occupants should be very careful when turning on the seat heaters, as excessive temperatures can cause burns. Seat heaters can cause burns even at low temperatures, especially when used for long periods. The driver must pay particular attention to the following occupants:
1. Infants, children, elderly persons, or persons with disabilities and frail persons
2. Persons sensitive to heat or with very sensitive skin
3. Persons who are physically fatigued
4. Persons who are intoxicated or drunk
5. Persons who have taken drowsiness-inducing medication (sleeping pills, etc.)
