To use the cigarette lighter, the ignition key must be in the ACC or ON position. To activate the cigarette lighter, push it fully into the socket. When the heating element is hot, the cigarette lighter automatically returns to the normal position up.

Use replacement parts from a Kia dealer/service partner.

WARNING

  • Drücken Sie einen bereits erhitzen Anzünder nicht länger in die Fassung, da er überhitzen kann.
  • If the activated cigarette lighter does not spring out of the socket within 30 seconds, pull the lighter out of the socket to prevent overheating.
  • Do not insert foreign objects into the cigarette lighter socket. This may damage the cigarette lighter.

WARNING

If other electrical accessories, e.g. shavers, pumps, coffee makers, etc., are connected to this socket, the socket may be damaged or electrical faults may occur.
