Automatic Anti-Fog System (For Automatic Climate Control System Only)

The automatic anti-fog system reduces the possibility of fogging on the inside of the windshield by automatically detecting the humidity inside the windshield.
The automatic anti-fog system operates when the climate control system is turned on.
✽ NOTICE
The automatic anti-fog system may not operate normally when the outside air temperature is below -15°C.

This indicator illuminates when the automatic anti-fog system detects humidity inside the windshield and is operating.
The more moisture in the vehicle, the higher the steps work as follows.
Step 1: Operate the air conditioning
Step 2: Select outside air
Step 3: Direct the airflow to the windshield
Step 4: Increase the airflow to the windshield
If your vehicle is equipped with an automatic anti-fog system, it is activated automatically when the conditions are met. However, if you want to cancel the automatic anti-fog system, press the front defrost button 4 times within 2 seconds while pressing the AUTO button. The indicator will flash 3 times to notify you that the system has been canceled. To use the automatic anti-fog system again, follow the procedures described above.
If the battery has been disconnected or discharged, the automatic anti-fog function is reset to its default state.
✽ NOTICE
If the air conditioning is manually turned off while the automatic anti-fog system is on, the AUTO anti-fog indicator will flash 3 times to notify you that the air conditioning cannot be turned off.
CAUTION
Do not remove the sensor cover located on the upper end of the windshield on the driver's side. Damage to system components may occur and may not be covered by your vehicle warranty.
